Medically trained Yoga Therapist based in West London
Helping you to find the personalised practice you need
Yoga tailored to you
Are you living with chronic, physical or mental health problems?
Have you been to many different doctors and alternative therapists?
Are you looking for a holistic health approach that views you as the whole person?
My aim is to bring the experiences from my Yoga journey combined with my training in Western medicine to our work together to provide a tailored and holistic practice.
Ways to Work Together
YOGA CLASSES
My goal is to provide a space where everyone can explore the movement of their body, breath and mind, in their own unique way. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner looking for your first class or a seasoned Yogin, we will be able to find the practice that works for you and is enjoyable.
YOGA THERAPY
Adapting yoga therapeutically means finding a combination of the different Yoga tools (eg. Physical postures, breathing techniques, philosophy and chanting) for your ailments. These can take the form of physical, energetic, emotional, psychological or spiritual solutions.
SPEAKER AT WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES
I am regularly get invited as a speaker and to lead workshops at events and conferences. I am honoured and able to share my experience of working as a medical doctor, and how Yoga has positively impacted my life. Please see a variety of topics I have discussed with another Yoga therapist, Colin Dunsmuir, in our “Yoga & Health” Podcast.
Meet your Yoga Therapist
Hi, I’m Stanford. I have been working as a medical doctor since 2013, focused in Mental health and Women’s health. This experience of looking after people with a variety of physical and mental health problems has given me an understanding of the modern day demand.
I began practising Yoga as a teenager and have been teaching Yoga since 2018. I have trained in the lineage of Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar, I have learned that yoga practice can go beyond physical exercise; into therapeutic and spiritual alignments.
